Q: What is the Pithos?

In the Greek myth of Pandora’s Box, the word translated as "box" was actually a large jar (pithos) – It wasn’t until the 16th century when it was mistranslated as being a box (pyxis).

Q:  Where is the store based?

This shop is managed by White Squirrel, out of Everett, WA.

Q:  When will it ship?

Our goal is to ship your order to you within a week of when you placed it.

All orders will be sent with tracking numbers and you should receive an email from the shop with that info as soon as your item ships.

Once shipped, most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 12 weeks.

Q:  When do I get charged for my Pre-Order?

You will only be charged once the item is being prepared for shipment. You will be notified by email when that happens.

 

Q:  Do you offer refunds or exchanges?

If there is a problem with your order, please contact me at info@thepithos.com and I will try my best to get back to you as soon as possible, but typically once an order is processed for shipping, I do not offer refunds or exchanges.

If the item you purchased arrives broken or damaged, we will replace it. Just contact our store's support e-mail.

Q: How do you determine shipping charges?

We ship through the United states Postal Service and calculate shipping costs based on the weight and size of the package.

International shipping estimates can be exceptionally high, so we do refund any extraneous shipping costs once your package has shipped.
